Like in a fairy tale

Domenica 26/06 ho partecipato al Naz. C* che si è tenuto presso il Riding Club di Casorate (VA). Un magnifico posto incantato immerso nel bosco del Ticino. Per accedervi con l’auto si passa per una lunga strada sterrata, altrimenti vi si può arrivare solo a piedi tramite numerosi e diramatissimi sentieri.

Il mio percorso nel complesso è andato bene, sono sempre molto contenta della mia cavalla, ha un comportamento sempre molto serio e rispettoso, soprattutto in gara, la capra sono io! Sono arrivata con galoppo un po’ troppo lento verso la gabbia e ho commesso errore. E va be, si mette anche questo nel bagaglio dell’esperienza e si spera di far meglio la prossima volta.

Come consolazione, dopo la gara mi sono concessa con la mia Icona una bellissima passeggiata nel bosco, seguendo il percorso di completo del Riding Club. E’ bastato pochissimo perché la vegetazione si infittisse ancor più e sparissero tutti i rumori del campo gara e dell’interfono. C’è stato un attimo in cui finalmente mi sono resa conto che in quella foresta incantata..c’eravamo solo io e lei, e qualche raggio di sole che dalle foglie penetrava fino a terra…assolutamente bellissimo. Facendo la vita di maneggio-concorso lei non è proprio abituata a questo genere di cose, ma anche stavolta ha saputo stupirmi: era tranquillissima e anzi,devo dire piuttosto curiosa! Al ritorno poi,sempre al bar del centro immerso nel bosco..un bel panino con la salamella =) Anche questa un giornata meravigliosa. Grazie.

Sunday, 26/06 I attended the Nat. C* at the Riding Club in Casorate (VA). A beautiful fairy place in the woods of the river Ticino. To access by car you have to pass through a long dirt road, otherwise you can go only by foot through numerous and branched paths.

My race in all went well, I'm always very happy of my mare, she has a behavior very serious and respectful, especially during race, I'm the goat! I arrived with a gallop a bit slow towards the obstacles cage and I made a mistake. It goes well, I also put this in my experience package hopefully to do better next time.

As a consolation, after the race I took a beautiful walk in the woods with my Icona, following the eventing path of Riding Club. In a little the vegetation had thickened even more and all the noises of the competition area and the speaker were gone. There was a moment when I finally realized that in that fairy wood.. there was just me and her, and some few rays of sun penetrated from leaves to the ground ... absolutely beautiful.

By having a riding/show jumping life, she is not exactly used to this sort of thing, but again she had able to amaze me: she was indeed quiet and, I must say quite curious! Then on the way back, at the bar of the equestrian center in the woods, I took a good sandwich with sausage =) Also this was a wonderful day. Thank you.
